I love her little apron! I wonder if my girl that likes to “help” in the kitchen would tolerate an apron. I could make us matching aprons – and be mocked by my husband. My helper loves the kitchen and is unphased by having flour in her fur (she can be quite insistent on getting attention when I’m baking and yes I wash my hands after as she’s not patient enough to wait).

Turkey thighs/hind quarters or a heritage turkey (more dark meat, smaller breast) are much preferred by my crew. In the past I’ve had a hard time finding thighs in my area – turkey breast is everywhere though. With grown kids we’re down to three this year and I made reservations at one of our favorite restaurants.

My youngest cat’s first foster (we were his second foster – then he claimed us) had video of him sitting on top of the door. The dismount was onto the hall table. At the time my husband commented that that video would deter potential adopters. I think it just made him even more adorable.

Wicket picked the wrong cat to jilt all those years ago. Baba has been waiting for this moment of pay back.

We had an orange tabby, the holistic vet said she was high-strung even for a cat. We had to put her on prozac for everyone’s safety. Three cats and a dog in the house, she only liked one of the older cats and when he died of old age, she had no animal friends in the house. She liked me, tolerated my son and daughter, did not like my husband. She definitely was evil some days.

I have a feeling two young ones are going to be in a bit of trouble after being praised for their bravery.

Don’t forget that there are a fair number moles in the resistance to help Puck. Also I’m pretty sure Tabitha and Sir Figaro aren’t just going to sit idly by if Puck is attacked. Tabitha is not one to be trifled with.

I think it’s a squirrel or other small mammal. It’s too big to be a mouse. Pretty sure it’s Thimble Fists friend – can’t remember the name or species.
